Job Description – Sales Advisor

12 Hours

We are looking for a reliable & experienced Sales Advisor for our Falmouth Store.

The successful applicant will have had previous retail store experience, and must be flexible.

You will have the following skills:-

  • Ability to assist in everyday retail operations.
  • An effective communicator and strong team player
  • If part time you will need to be flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • A flair for merchandising and a passion for the Weird Fish brand.
  • Ability to supervise store in the absence of both the manager and assistant manager.
  • Confidence in cash handling procedures

Summary of main purpose of the role:-

  • The Sales Advisor is responsible for opening and/or closing the store and ensuring that proper store procedures and policies are followed when store management is not on duty, or unavailable on the floor. The SA will, in the absence of Store Management, oversee sales, merchandising, customer service and all operational functions.

Experience Level

  • Previously an experienced Sales Advisor / Key holder or equivalent in a customer focused retail environment. Clothing retail experience preferred but not essential.
  • This also includes being able to work weekends.

Qualifications
– Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
– Proven sales management experience to drive revenue and meet targets
– Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
– Familiarity with merchandising and retail operations
– Administrative experience and phone etiquette skills are beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.60 per hour
